Battery Replacement for 2014 Camry

Steps:

1. Turn off car ignition and all accessories
2. Plug memory save cord into cigarette charging port of portable jump start and verify the red light is on the memory save cord
3. Locate OBD2 port under the car's steering wheel
4. Connect the other end of memory save cord
5. Open front hood of your car
6. Remove cross bar above the battery
7. Remove negative (-) connector after loosening using wrench/ratchet
8. Remove positive (+) connector after loosening using wrench/ratchet
9. Remove old battery
10. Clean/brush connectors with cleaning tool
11. Put in new battery and clean/brush connectors
12. Fasten the cross bar
13. Connect negative (-) then positive (+) ends
14. Apply corrosion protection gel on both ends
15. Mark the date
16. Disconnects the memory saver cord 
17. Start the engine

 

Tools needed:

 

1. One 12/32" or 3/8" (9mm-10mm) socket with handle ,
2. Small adjustable wrench
3. Connector cleaner, corrosion protection gel
4. Rags and paper, plastic bag for waste
